Picture the opening shot: a day bag by the door, a phone with the pickup details, and the moment a familiar hotel becomes the starting point of somewhere new. The island is still out of frame.
A Saona excursion begins with a few practical details. Our group-tour listing includes round-trip hotel transport. Before departure, confirm the pickup time, the exact meeting point at your hotel, and the contact to use if you cannot find your transport. Keep those details somewhere you can open easily.
Then check the journey ahead. Is the pickup vehicle taking you directly to the boat departure point, or does your arrangement include a transfer to another vehicle? A hotel lobby, a resort gate and a separate meeting point are different places. Your own confirmation should tell you where to wait.
Save a copy of the confirmation on your phone before you leave the room, especially if you may not have a reliable connection outside the hotel. Check the date and the lead traveler’s name. If two similar excursions are collecting guests nearby, use your booking details to identify the right one rather than following the first group you see.
If the pickup details have changed since you booked, resolve the difference with the operator. A message sent earlier in the week should not outweigh a newer confirmation for your own departure.
